Took my car in for inspection. Scott (mechanic) showed me a pic of 'leaking calipers' over pads, and said I needed to replace pads or go for full rotor replacement.

This was either $500 or $1000. I had doubts the photo shown was of my car, and I actually asked the Manager Tim for it later, and he never sent it though he promised. Bottom line: a mechanic friend confirmed there was NO LEAKING, and he kindly replaced the pads for $80 in parts, no charge for labor since he was so appalled of the horrible stories of mechanics cheating people, especially women. When I went back to complain, Tim showed me some 'caking' on the inside of one wheel to justify their claim that there must have been leaking (when?

10 yrs ago?), to justify their attempt to make a nice sale for something unneeded.

They just lost another customer. (This was CarX in Kirkwood, MO).

Reason of review: Not as described.

Preferred solution: get honest EVERY TIME !!! it will bring them more business..

I didn't like: Lack of honesty.
